Quick brief
What do you need to know first?
The short answer on slurpers, the parts that go with them and what to put on the wall.
Quick Answer: A terp slurper is a quartz banger with a bottom dish and intake slits that pull the dab up a vertical chamber. Stock sizes from a standard slurper to an XL, and sell the pillar, pearls and cap with every one. A 5×20 pillar fits standard slurpers, and towers take a 5×35.
A terp slurper is the quartz step up from a flat top. It’s easy to display, and it sells with its parts. Here’s what to stock, what to sell with it, and where flat tops still win.
The basics
What is a terp slurper, and why do smoke shops carry them?
Start here if your quartz wall is all flat tops.
A terp slurper is a quartz banger with a dish at the bottom and slits above it. The slits pull air through the dab and lift it up a vertical chamber, so the oil vaporizes across more hot quartz.
A flat top is a bucket, and the dab sits on the floor of it. A slurper lifts the dab off that floor and moves it through the chamber.
For a shop, the pitch is simple. A slurper is a step up from the flat top, and it’s a reason to talk about parts. The customer who buys one usually needs a pillar, pearls and a cap to run it. That’s a bigger ticket from the same walk to the case.

What I’d stock
What would I stock in a terp slurper section today?
The short list first. The rest of this guide explains each line.
A standard terp slurper, a mini vortex slurper, an XL slurper, a control tower, and a slurper set. Add pillars, pearls and slurper top caps next to them.
If I were building the section this month, here’s the list:
- Core row: the full weld terp slurper and the mini vortex slurper, two takes on the same 20mm, 60mm build.
- Step up: an XL terp slurper and an XL blender for customers who want more airflow.
- Tower: one full weld control tower, plus the mini control tower.
- Complete sets: the 5-piece slurper sets, so a customer can walk out with everything.
- Parts: slurper top caps, terp pearls and pillars, kept in arm’s reach.
That covers the first-time slurper buyer, the returning dabber and the customer who wants a tower, without overbuying one shape.
The lineup
Which terp slurper styles should you stock?
Five styles, five jobs in the case.
Carry a standard slurper as the core, an XL for airflow, a control tower for the tall build and a slurper set for the one-stop sale.
Size and shape change how the dab moves, and the listings tell you what’s what. The terp slurper and the mini vortex slurper both list a 20mm top and a 60mm height. The XXL vortex slurper lists a 20mm top at 70mm.
| Style | What it is | Who it’s for |
|---|---|---|
| Terp slurper and mini vortex slurper | A 20mm top at 60mm tall | The everyday slurper buyer |
| XL terp slurper and XL blender | Larger builds listed for more vapor flow | Customers who want more airflow |
| Control tower | A tall slurper-style build; it lists a 16mm top at 70mm | Customers who run pillars |
| Terp slide and feeder slurpers | The slide slurper lists a 16mm top at 80mm tall; the feeder includes a handle dish tool | Customers who want a different build |

The add-ons
What should you sell with every terp slurper?
The slurper is half the sale. The parts are the other half.
A pillar, terp pearls and a cap. A slurper is built around those parts, and a customer who buys it bare can’t run it the way it was designed.
Pillar length depends on the build. The checkered quartz pillar lists a 5×20 size for standard slurpers and bangers, and a 5×35 for towers and XL bangers. Match the pillar to the banger before you ring it up, or you’ll sell the wrong one.
| Add-on | What it does | Sell it with |
|---|---|---|
| Pillar | Sits above the dish and spreads the dab | Every slurper and tower |
| Terp pearls | Move the oil around the quartz | Flat tops, blenders and XL slurpers |
| Slurper top cap | Seals the banger; made for slurpers | Every slurper |
| Control tower top cap | Spins pearls on tower builds | Control towers |
The 5-piece slurper sets bundle a slurper marble, terp pearls, a valve marble and a pillar. They’re the easy answer when a customer asks what else they need. Check the terp pearls and pillars page and your wholesale carb caps case for the rest.
The first-timer
Should you stock flat tops next to terp slurpers?
Slurpers earn their place, but a flat top’s the easier start.
Yes. Keep flat tops beside the slurpers, because a first-time dabber does better on a flat top and a slurper’s the trade-up.
A flat top’s easier to clean. A Q-tip does it. A slurper takes more work, and you’ll want to dunk it in isopropyl to get it clean. Stock slurper mops and cleaning supplies near the case so the upsell doesn’t turn into a return.
That’s why the case should read as a ladder. The flat top’s the start, the slurper’s the step up, and the control tower’s the top of the row.
From the Counter — Start them on a flat top
What I tell shops: for a first-timer, start them on a flat top. Flat tops are easier to clean than slurpers, and a Q-tip does it. A slurper takes more, so you kind of need to dunk it in iso to really clean it well.
And when the customer does move up to a slurper, you’d probably run a marble or a three-piece slurper set with it. Sell the rig with its parts. That’s a huge part of selling dab rigs.
Stocking plan
How should you display and reorder terp slurpers?
Slurpers earn their space when they sit with the parts.
Put slurpers at eye level in the dab case, with the pillars, pearls and caps within reach. Reorder the slurpers and the parts together, so you’re never short one half of the set.
A slurper’s tall and thin, so it displays well as a row. Group them by size, left to right, so the customer sees a choice and not a pile. Don’t scatter them. Keep the sets at the end of the row for the one-stop buyer.
Start with the stocking list near the top of this guide. If a customer’s shopping for a rig, walk them to the slurpers and ask what they plan to run in it. Pair a new mini dab rig with a banger, and the sale gets bigger.
Why most wholesale guides get terp slurpers wrong
Distributor catalogs list a slurper as a banger and stop. It isn’t. A slurper’s the center of a set, and the pillar, pearls and cap are what make it work.
Sell it as a set. A customer who walks out with only the slurper hasn’t got what they need to run it.

Buyer questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Short answers to what buyers search before they order slurpers.
What is a terp slurper?
A quartz banger with a dish at the bottom, intake slits and a vertical chamber. The slits pull air through the dab and lift it up the chamber, so the oil vaporizes across more hot quartz.
What’s the difference between a terp slurper and a control tower?
A control tower’s a taller slurper-style banger. The full-size control tower we carry lists a 16mm top at 70mm tall, and tower builds take a longer 5×35 pillar.
What size pillar fits a terp slurper?
It depends on the build, so don’t guess. The checkered quartz pillar lists 5×20 for standard slurpers and bangers, and 5×35 for towers and XL bangers. Match the pillar to the banger.
What cap goes on a terp slurper?
A slurper top cap, which is listed as made for slurpers with a tight seal on the banger. A marble or a 5-piece slurper set also works, and towers have their own top cap.
Are terp slurpers harder to clean than flat tops?
Yes. A flat top cleans with a Q-tip. A slurper takes more work, and it helps to dunk it in isopropyl. Stock cleaning supplies near the slurper case.
