Dr. Dabber Switch 2 glass is a narrow lane: every piece has to fit one e-rig, and the customer asking for it already owns the base. This guide covers what fits, what doesn’t, and the tops and caps worth a spot in your case.
The basics
What is Dr. Dabber Switch 2 glass?
Start here if customers ask for Dr. Dabber Switch 2 attachments and you don’t carry the e-rig itself.
Switch 2 glass is the attachment that sits on top of Dr. Dabber’s Switch 2 e-rig and holds the water, or runs dry. Every Switch 2 ships with a stock glass attachment and a carb cap, so the customer asking for glass already owns one. They want a second top or an upgrade.
The Switch 2 is an e-rig, an electronic dab rig. Dr. Dabber heats a 20mm quartz insert by induction, evenly from the sidewalls and the base, and says the insert holds 300% more than the original Switch’s. The glass attachment seats on top of the unit, above the insert.
Dr. Dabber’s own replacement glass is custom blown for the Switch 2, with a laser-cut percolator and a large water chamber, and it fits into the base snugly. Its Glassworks line adds an incycler attachment. We don’t sell the Switch 2 itself. We carry glass for it: tops and a carb cap.

Does Switch 2 glass fit the original Switch, the Switch GO or the Ghost 2?
Settle the model question before a customer walks out with a top that won’t seat.
Treat it as Switch 2 only. Dr. Dabber lists its replacement glass as Switch 2 only, and every Switch 2 top we carry is listed the same way. The Switch GO has its own replacement glass, and the Ghost 2 is a portable vaporizer that ships with a ceramic mouthpiece, not glass.
The Switch GO and the Dr. Dabber Ghost 2 are where the mix-ups start. The Switch GO is a compact e-rig, 54% smaller than the Switch 2 by Dr. Dabber’s own numbers. It ships with its own glass attachment and carb cap, and Dr. Dabber sells a Switch GO replacement glass separately.
The original Switch is the older model. To The Cloud Vapor Store’s Switch 2 review describes it as discontinued, and puts the Switch 2 inserts at three times the size of the original’s. Customers also search for Dr. Dabber Boost EVO and XS glass. We carry none of that.
The counter rule is short. Ask which model the customer owns before you sell the top. If the answer is anything but a Switch 2, the tops we carry are the wrong glass for it.
The lineup
Which Switch 2 tops should a smoke shop stock?
One piece per tier, so every Switch 2 owner who walks in finds a reason to buy.
Cover the ladder, not the catalog. A dry top and a joystick carb cap make the entry tier, a showerhead water top is the mid tier, and a recycler is the step-up. That gives a Switch 2 owner a spare, an upgrade and a showpiece without going deep on any one of them.

The two recyclers are Roots Glass pieces, unbranded on this run, so no outside logo sits in your case. Between them, they give a Switch 2 owner two recycler options on the same base instead of one.

Why is the carb cap the best seller?
The smallest piece in the set does the most work at the register, and it helps to know why.
Of the Switch 2 pieces we carry, the UFO Opal Joystick Carb Cap is our best seller. Every Switch 2 already ships with a carb cap, so a second cap is a spare or an upgrade on a part that came in the box, and it is one of the smallest tickets in the set.
The stock cap is a magnetic glass joystick, according to To The Cloud Vapor Store’s review, so owners already know the shape. The UFO Opal cap seats in the same carb-cap position with no adapter.
Tilting and spinning the joystick steers airflow across the insert, and the opal marble in the center flashes color in the case.
Read that ranking as early. The cap went on the site about a month before the recyclers did, so it has had longer to sell. Our carb caps category carries it alongside the caps for quartz bangers.
From the Counter — Picking a Switch 2 Top
When a shop asks me which Switch 2 top to put out first, I start with how the customer dabs.
A recycler is mainly built for dabbing. The water bubbles through the whole piece and comes back down like a waterfall, so the hit runs longer and comes out smoother, with more flavor. The trade is drag: a recycler has a lot more drag than a perc straight tube.
So I point the recycler at the customer who takes smaller hits. A showerhead is a basic perc, a disc with slits. And “UFO” on a carb cap names the shape, not a different mechanism.
Stocking plan
How should a smoke shop display and sell Dr. Dabber Switch 2 glass?
Where the tops go in your case, what to ask at the counter, and what I would order first.
Keep Dr. Dabber Switch 2 glass together, next to the rest of your e-rig glass, labeled by model. Ask which model the customer owns before you reach into the case. Then walk them up the ladder: the cap and dry top first, the showerhead next, a recycler if they want the step-up.
Model labels matter. The Switch 2 showerhead top we carry is listed as not fitting the Puffco Peak or other models. If you already carry Puffco tops, set the Switch 2 glass beside them as its own lane.
Here is what I would order first:
- Joystick carb caps, deepest of the set. The easy add-on, and one of the smallest tickets.
- The dry top. Entry glass for a spare, or for the owner who runs it without water.
- The showerhead fab top. The mid tier, and a water top your staff can explain in one line.
- One recycler, then the second. Start with the 8-inch RBR. Add the 9-inch Spider once the first one moves, so the case shows a step up.
- Nothing for other models. The glass we carry is for the Switch 2. Point Switch GO, Ghost 2 and original Switch owners to glass made for their model.
