Roots Glass 6.5″ VOLCANO Mini Rig

Roots Glass 6.5″ VOLCANO Mini Dab Rig

A 6.5″ mini dab rig built for everyday concentrate sessions.

Small footprint, real function. The VOLCANO stands 6.5″ tall, so it sits easy on a desk, packs down for travel, and doesn’t take up the whole shelf. A short stack means less drag and a quick, punchy pull — exactly what you want from a small dab rig you reach for daily instead of babysitting a tall piece.

It runs a 14mm female joint and ships with a 14mm bowl, so it works as a mini dab rig or a flower piece right out of the box. Want to dab? Drop in any 14mm quartz banger — banger sold separately, and any standard 14mm one fits. Thick borosilicate glass throughout, so it holds up to daily use instead of cracking on you a week in. Comes in black, green, blue, or purple.

At $34.99 it lands under $40 — real function without the heady price. Thick glass, clean pull, fair price. Grab one for the rotation or as a beater you don’t have to stress about.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a mini dab rig?

A mini dab rig is a smaller dab rig, usually under 7 inches. Less glass and a shorter chamber mean a quicker, more flavorful pull and an easier piece to travel with. The VOLCANO is 6.5″ — small enough to pack up, big enough to hit right every session.

Is a small dab rig better than a big one?

For concentrates, usually yes. A small dab rig keeps the vapor path short, so you taste more of your terps and lose less to a big chamber. Bigger rigs are smoother but can dull the flavor. Start small if you’re unsure.

Does this rig come with a banger?

No — the banger is sold separately. It does come with a 14mm bowl, so it works for flower right away. When you want to dab, any 14mm quartz banger drops straight into the joint.

What size dab rig should I get?

For most people, smaller is better. A mini dab rig like this 6.5″ VOLCANO gives you more flavor and an easier pull than a tall rig, plus it’s simpler to clean and store. Go bigger only if you specifically want more water and more diffusion.

What’s the difference between a dab rig and a bong?

Same idea, different job. A bong is built for flower with a bowl; a dab rig is built for concentrates with a banger and usually runs smaller for better flavor. This piece does both — it ships with a 14mm bowl for flower, and you can add a 14mm quartz banger to dab.
