A percolator is a glass chamber inside a bong that breaks smoke into small bubbles as it passes through water. More bubbles means more surface area, which cools and filters the smoke for a smoother hit. It is the single feature buyers ask for most after thickness, which is why a perc-focused series moves.
Honeycomb and showerhead percs are the steadiest sellers — they hit smooth, look busy in the glass, and clear fast. Tree percs read as higher-end and carry a better margin; inline percs suit buyers who want easy cleaning. Clean a percolator bong with isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt, the same as any water pipe. The salt scrubs the inside of the perc arms while you shake; cap the openings and agitate, then rinse hot.
