10mm to 14mm — the most-asked step-up; lets a 10mm nectar collector or rig run a 14mm banger or bowl.
14mm to 18mm — runs an 18mm bowl or ash catcher on a 14mm joint.

What is a glass adapter?

A glass adapter is a borosilicate connector with a joint on each end that converts one fitting to another. The two ends can differ in size (10mm, 14mm, 18mm), in gender (male vs female), in angle, or in position. It sits between the piece and the accessory, letting parts that would not otherwise fit work together without buying new glass.

What size glass adapter do I need?

Read the adapter as “from joint to to joint” — a 14mm-to-18mm adapter has a 14mm end that fits the piece and an 18mm end that takes the accessory. Match the first size to the bong or rig joint and the second to the bowl, banger, or ash catcher. The three sizes that cover almost every request are 10mm, 14mm, and 18mm; gender (male or female) has to be opposite to seat, so keep both directions on hand.

Are bong joints universal?

No — bong joints vary by diameter and gender, which is the whole reason adapters exist. A 14mm female joint only seats a 14mm male accessory by default; anything else needs a converter. Stocking a few sizes of adapter lets one customer’s mismatched bowl, banger, or downstem work on whatever piece they already own.

Is there an order minimum on wholesale glass adapters?

No. Buy a handful of the common sizes or a full set — no minimums, no pallet commitments. Reorder whatever moves.

Do I need a license to buy wholesale?

You’ll need a seller’s permit or sales-tax (resale) certificate to open a wholesale account — that’s it. No medical or cannabis license is required, since glass and accessories aren’t controlled. Sign up, send us the cert, and we’ll get you approved.

How much margin is in glass adapters?

They are a low-ticket impulse part, so most shops mark them up to about 2x the wholesale price, plus roughly $10 on top for wiggle room. You set your own retail price.
